Dr. Yuichiro Yamashiro is Professor & Chairman of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Juntendo University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan. Prof. Yamashiro graduated from Juntendo University School
of Medicine with an MD in 1967 and PhD in 1972. After internship and residency in pediatrics,faculty of Juntendo University School of Medicine where
he rose to the rank of Professor and Chairman by 1997.
Over the past two decades,Hepatology and Nutrition including probiotics. Prof.
Yamashiro has been very active in many national and
international societies that foster excellence in pediatric
research and patient care. He currently serves as
president of .Japanese Society for Pediatric
Gastroenterology,vice-president of Japan Pediatric Society. In addition
he serves on the council of many distinguished
scientific societies,Pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology,Mucosal Immunology,and The Japanese Society for Breast Feeding
Research.
